Grille Properties

Property Name	Description
Air Flow Rate (CFM) Air Flow Rate Unit	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets a value for the amount of flow through Grille. Used to calculate overall flow rate during analysis operations. Air Rate Unit sets the air flow rate in cubic units per minute. This property is used by the Analysis tool for calculating upstream air flow rates for connected elements. Grille fittings when used as route openings in the duct sizing, takes the air flow value for calculation.
Angle 1	`<angle value> between 0° and 90°.` Sets horizontal mesh bar angle.
Angle 2	`<angle value> between 0° and 90°.` Sets vertical mesh bar angle.
Auto Size	1-symprop Resizes grille and offsets to maintain symmetry. 2-prop Resizes grille portion proportional to End1 while maintaining grille box offsets. 3-sym Resizes Side Distance and Bottom Distance parameters so grille remains symmetric. 4-custom No grille symmetry.
Bar Thickness	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets bar thickness. Max 100, for non catalog grilles.
Bottom Distance	`Positive < numeric value>` Sets vertical offset between grille area and box.
Damper \| Angle	`<angle value> between 0° and 90°` Sets internal damper angle. 0° angle value sets damper to fully closed position. 90° angle value sets damper to fully opened position. The With Damper property must be set to true for Damper Angle property to be effective.
Damper \| Thickness	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets width of the damper. The number of damper blades are set according to the thickness. Note: Both 'Damper \| Angle' and 'Damper \| Thickness' properties are not applicable to all side grills.
Dimension \| Frame Thickness	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets spacing between 4 way grille patterns.
Horizontal	true Sets bars horizontal. false Sets bars vertical.
Inner Depth	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets 4 inner grille depths.
Inner Diameter	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets inner diameter of star pattern.
Inner Width	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets 4 inner grille widths.
Inside Depth	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets 4 inner grille depths.
Inside Width	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets grille portion width.
Mesh Diameter	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets the diameter of mesh portion.
No. of Bars	`<integer>` Sets number of bars.
No. of Horizontal Bars	`<integer>` Sets number of horizontal bars.
No. of Vertical Bars	`<integer>` Sets number of vertical bars.
Outer Diameter	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets outer diameter of star or round slot pattern.
Outlet pressure (in. wg)	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets the realistic value for pressure at the discharge; taken as Total Pressure Loss in the Duct Sizing calculations.
Side	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets grid box side when Auto Size is not prop.
Side Distance	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets vertical offset between grille area and box.
Mesh Horizontal Spacing	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets vertical mesh bar spacing.
Mesh Vertical Spacing	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets horizontal mesh bar spacing.
No. of Slots	`<integer>` Sets number of slots.
No. of Strips	`<integer>` Sets number of strips in rectangular and round bar patterns.
Slot Thickness	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets slot thickness.
Strip Thickness	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets strip thickness in rectangular and round bar patterns.
Thickness	`Positive <numeric value>` Sets overall box thickness.
With Damper	true false Sets damper to on or off condition. Useful for End Grilles.
